The bilateral trade between Brazil and India has doubled from US$ 4.67 billion in 2008 to US$ 10.6 billion in 2012.

By 2015, the commercial trade between Brazil and India is going to reach US$15 billion.

The main six items exported from Brazil to India are: Crude oil, sugar, minerals, fats/oils, iron/steel and airplane.

The main six items exported from India to Brazil are: Petroleum products, organic chemicals, machines, synthetic yarn, pharmaceutical products and electrical equipments.

Since 2006, the Brazil India Chamber of Commerce has been promoting business, trade and culture exchange between the two countries.
